The Metal Snake

We reached the Waste Disposal Unit and were immediately bathed in a red glow that came from a light above the door. A message read : "Enter At your Own Risk!". We looked at each other and then the chef stuck out his claw and opened the door. A loud noise came from inside, Kuro-chan pressed a button on her breastplate and a helmet formed around her head leaving only a purple pony tail sticking out at the back. The space pirate used an improvised flamethrower, originally a chef's blowtorch. Lunaar however brought out a laser sword and prepared to attack. I took out a standard issue GF gun, courtesy of the TSC.

Lunaar went in first, then Kuro-chan, I looked at the chef- he gestured I should go first and so I entered the room. In the middle of the scrap pile was a huge metallic creature. It had six visionary sensors placed in two even rows on the bottom of its jaw, its teeth were as long as a Sheegoth's and its body was like a serpent's. It reared its head and looked intently at Kuro-chan, heat impulsed for a second behind my back, the chef was using the flamethrower but my suit's internal systems cooled me efficiently. The metallic serpent reacted to the stimulus and drew back. Lunaar jumped into the pile pile and began to wade through waste and spam heading for the serpent. I aimed for the snake's eyes, hopefully blinding it temporarily but it sensed my thoughts and slid quickly over to me, oblivious to Lunaar.

I saw its open mouth and teeth and dodged right while the chef encased it's head in a blanket of flames and Kuro-chen began to shoot missiles from her arm cannon to distract the serpent. I began to also give cover fire, the snake could only take so much. A flare burned brightly from one corner of the room, I opened comm.s , Lunaar was on the line, "I have the essence, come on let's get out of here before we become breakfast." FlamingMetroidzd appeared in comm.s as well, startling me,

"Good, no move out of there and we'll send in a clean up squad"

"Flaming, that's a bit hard, it's now after me!" The snake had noticed the flare and had decided to find the source, which was Lunaar. He braced himself, he looked as if he was shaking in the face of this 50 foot monster, Kuro-chan shoot even more rapidly in a vain attempt to dissuade the serpent from Lunaar. Suddenly Lunaar jumped a distance not humanly possible and drew his sword in a quick swiping action, cutting clean off the snake's head. It's body began to convulse and slam hard down the waste piles, the body writhed above Lunaar and slammed down on him, plunging him deep into the space junk. After a minute, the body stopped and Kuro-chan ran for where Lunaar last was, I started after her but the chef stayed put.

Kuro-chan frantically looked from side to side, shouting for Lunaar, I was not so hurried. I scanned the landscape, my thermal vision giving me hotspots. A human hotspot a[ppeared beneath my feet and I began to scrape away at the floor, Kuro appeared opposite me and also began to dig, we soon found a hand and we began to pull hard but Lunaar couldn't be pulled out. Kuro looked up at the ceiling and told me, "Attach a grapple to that overhead bar." I didn't argue and did what I was told, I shot the grapple and it gripped hard the steel bar. Kuro grapped my arm and Lunaar's hand, I recalled the grapple and the three of us shot into the air. I felt relieved, a feeling short-lived as I realised we would hit the roof soon, that would hurt!
